It's confirmed...Benedict XVI is supporting the Oklahoma Sooners in tonights Big XII Championship Game!
According to Catholic World News His Holiness is excited for another Sooner championship and believes that "many of the moral and ethical problems in America stem from husking corn."
His Holiness has issued a personal blessing to Sooner Coach Bob Stoops and the entire team and wore special Crimson clerics during the last day of his recent trip to Turkey.
Before boarding Shepherd One, His Holiness blessed the Turkish crowds and stated, "Thanks Be to God and Boomer Sooner!"
